By accessing or using TradeVault ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
TradeVault provides digital trade compliance tools including tariff eligibility checks, rules of origin calculators, document generation, shipment tracking, and market intelligence for African exporters. The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your account details current. TradeVault reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You agree not to use the Platform for unlawful purposes, to misrepresent your identity or affiliation, to attempt to access other users' data, to reverse-engineer the Platform, or to use automated systems to extract data from the Platform without written permission.
All content, tools, designs, and proprietary methodologies on TradeVault are the intellectual property of TradeVault Ltd. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without written consent.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time.
If you are a consumer purchasing a paid subscription, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without penalty. To exercise this right, contact support@tradevault.africa within 14 days.
Refunds for unused subscription periods are available within 30 days of purchase or cancellation within the 14-day cooling-off period. Subscriptions cancelled mid-billing cycle will not be refunded for the remainder of that period.
To the extent permitted by law, TradeVault does not exclude liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) breach of implied terms under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; or (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to these exclusions, our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
TradeVault processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and GDPR (EU 2016/679). Where you are the data controller, TradeVault acts as a data processor. A separate Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through direct negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal proceedings. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
